Mission Statement - 365EnglandFans is seen by many as an online fanzine, that campaigns on issues put to us by fans. Our mission is to make watching the national Football team anywhere in the world as affordable and as enjoyable as possible by offering money saving tips and links along with other information to those like ourselves who choose to travel independently or on one of our organised trips run by fans, for fans. Why did you start the site and what are your aims ? We launched the site in November 2002 and really only concentrated on travel with a venue guide for each fixture, due to the increased promotion of organised travel. We wanted to provide information on independent travel, giving fans who don’t wish to join an organised trip (unless we run one ourselves) the best possible information on flight prices, hotels, attractions, a bit of the language, in fact just about everything you would want to know from the history of the country to the best bars and shopping areas. The other features on the site were added because you, the fans asked for them in response to a survey we did. Being independent we offer free membership, open to all and the site is run by a small group of fans, nearly all of whom have followed the team abroad for more than 20 years. In response to other requests you can read our
news articles on ticketing,
how to legally get all regional TV channels through your Sky Box, and more on
our first campaign:- This included getting lower ticket prices for the U21 matches to encourage support for the England stars of tomorrow, and came about because so many ticket stubs our readers found were complimentary or sold to adults for just £2 or £5 when official englandfans club members are paying the full price, £10 plus nearly £4 booking fee. That can’t be fair. Any other successes ? yes, here's what the Football Supporters Association (FSF), publishers of the Free Lions fanzine said " www.365EnglandFans.com website, is proving increasingly popular amongst travelling England supporters."
We also campaigned successfully to achieve some disparity
in the current official englandfans set-up where currently all fans, new and
long term members are treated alike. we can now revert to Caps for home and away
games, a bit like of the England Members Club (EMC). Again, our views are being listened to. We can only continue to do this with your support
and ideas, so please support us and suggest ideas. The proceeds from
the sale of merchandise are being used to pay the bills with the
surplus put back in to improving the site. Only by supporting this site, contributing to it
by using the Message Board, submitting, stories, articles, photos and the like,
telling your friends about it and letting us know what you want from it, can we
continue providing this service to help you which is solely funded by ourselves
and takes up many hours of our spare time. Contact © copyright www.365EnglandFans.com |
